Introduction I am currently involved with studies on the strong spin-orbit coupled systems such as topological insulator and hetero-interface with heavy elements. In these materials, the electron motion strongly dependes on the electron spin. I am studying these novel electronic and spin states using spin- and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (spin-ARPES) with synchrotron radiation. And also, I have joined the project for the development of the extremly high efficient spin-ARPES based on very low energy electron diffraction spin detector. With this newly developed experiment system, I try to precisely understand intriguing physics around the novel spin electronic states.
